Post favorite pics of your rig and trailer

My first and last trips of the year both had snow which always makes things a bit more interesting.

I just returned from a weekend at Silent Lake Provincial Park and the 54th running of the "Rally of the Tall Pines" in Bancroft, Ontario. I've been to a lot of races and other car events over the last 50+ years but this was my first time at a top level rally. It was a lot of fun and I respect...

Love your LJ & JT. (y) I have an LJ too and the last Jeep pickup truck before the JT. I get the LJ out in the snow quite a bit but the MJ ... not so much.

Six nights away on the shore of Lake Huron at Pinery and Inverhuron in Ontario with my 89 XJ. It was the end of October with lots of wind and rain. Loved it!

A few weeks earlier a few of us were at Craigleith Provincial Park on Georgian Bay (Lake Huron) near Collingwood, Ontario. Not a great park and the temps were in the low 20s at night but the constant crashing of the waves on the shoreline made it all worthwhile.

I had a nice 4 night camp with a dozen other old guys last week. The age range was from 59 to 76 ... I'm closer to the top end. The location was Valens Lake Conservation Area in Ontario.

    Post your Camp Awnings

I camped with this set up a few weeks ago. It's a basic 6.5' x 6.5' awning with a 4 sided hub screen tent with a cot next to it. I did my cooking, etc. out of the cargo area with the tailgate for a bit of over head coverage. It was simple and comfortable.

That works great! It's been a while since I've had the hatch panel off and I didn't pay much attention to the latch when did. It looks like it's pretty simple to add an interior release. Funny thing is that I have a small piece of tape there to assist when backing up my XJ to hitch up a...

Yes, I used ABS for the window vents, 2 sheets glued together with window screen in between. I also used fence trellis pieces from Home Depot to attach them to the top of the windows. I roll the windows down to about half way, place the parts on and then roll them up. I made rain gutters...

I sleep in the back of my XJ too and find it quite comfortable. I go in head first from the passenger's side. I had a 4 dr. years ago and liked it. I wasn't sure about camping with a 2 dr. but it's been great. I think I prefer it. I built a tire carrier since taking this pic. It freed...
