Compared to the CT market maybe, but why not invest into products for vehicles people actually buy, this choice to invest time and money into a product for the Hummer seems... poor

I dont understand why they are investing any more into this. Is the Hummer market really that big? Is that market chomping at the bit to drop $100,000 on a bed camper? Disappointing, would rather see them focus back on the overland market that is actually there.

A deep rabbit hole you've just entered. Some people have success with replacing the EGR vacuum control, some a full flush, most people just deal with it, a few in our local Ranger groups have successfully had theirs replaced by Ford once it got bad. Lots of info on Ranger5G about these.

Capability wise, they are probably very similar besides height, quality wise? The habitat is a $20k piece of junk with a nice paintjob, its no contest ER wins by a landslide in that category. They should put on a Super Tramp HT (or the like) for a more premium feel.

Ours is about 3 years old at this point and runs basically 24/7 about 8 months out of the year. Besides monthly cleaning never had an issue.

Like Maslin said, easier to finance and insure. Us common folk can easily go get a RV loan for something RVIA certified, not everyone has $400,000 in extra cash laying around to purchase an overland rig.
