What materials are used to make the box portion of the truck in NZ?
Could you find a box truck with an aluminum framed box and use foam board?
Some box's in the US are also made with uninsulated composite panels.
Nice looking rig. Curious why you don't want to keep it as is and use it to tow a trailer? Sounds like the trailer would be parked for good lengths of time in between jobs.

I had a 2003 E350 quigley and the suspension design on it was pretty bad. There were no adjustments for the front links to correct axle alignment and it would also bump steer really bad. When I owned it, it wasn't very old and had low miles so I don't think it was wear related.

Maybe beating a dead horse but 1/2 ton campers work best when they don't have all the amenities crammed into them. If someone wants more creature comforts, get a larger truck and camper.
Hiya. After weighing everything out out, I didn't do heated floors. I did 1.5" foam board with 1/2" marine ply. Camped a lot of nights at the ski hill using a diesel heater and don't regret not doing heated floors.
I would want to see some science based lab test data analysis before giving much weight to any claims or making conclusions.
