Those films might protect the acrylic plastic as well. We certainly have the whole Baja pinstripe thing down and acrylic window would have taken a beating on our rig.

I contacted Founders. The steel wheels are $858. The Hutchinson aluminum wheels are around $1623. Plus shipping. The gentleman I email with says they've mounted 285s on their wheels. If you go with their MT or AT tire they say you have to lift the truck 2.5" and cut away a little of the fender...

Try Founders tires. They make a wheel that will fit that tire. They have both steel and aluminum. We're getting a F450 and plan to do the same thing.

Hey PNy and andy_b thanks for you input on these threads. I have question.....how high was the the flatbed over the stock PU bed height? I heard CM is about 4-5" higher than stock. We have a hard side TC and height is critical to get it in our garage door.
