The idea of having a habitat mounted on twist locks is not new. In my career I have met with owners that dismounted the box from the truck so they can be shipped in separate sea containers. Not impossible.... BUT a major pain in the butt! For example: think about the facility and equipment...

Another fun fact: most if not all pultrusions/ extrusions started out as custom designs by a paying customer that owns the design and IP behind it. If the manufacturer would start selling them to outsiders, i bet it would get ugly very fast. in any case, it sounds like you have the capabilities...

Pretty much every pultrusion is custom designed. There are crazy costs for the tooling (anywhere from US$6000-40,000) and minimum order quantities. Therefore something like this will never be "cheap". Hence not many brands using them. We usually order several kilometre worth of FRP pultrusions...

I may be biased but I really enjoy owning and driving our 2019. So far zero issues and very easy/cheap to getting it in for a service at regular mechanic shops. Try doing this with a Sprinter LOL . Is it perfect? No, by no means. Nothing in the world is perfect and there are always compromises...

They probably had to peel out a crap load of import tariffs (currently at 45%) and have to pass it on to the American consumer. Better get used to it, anything coming into the USA is hit hard with tariffs.

The raised floor in the seating area was dictated by the height of the storage compartments and seating ergonomics. It ended up as just an empty space. It was also nice to have that space to install extra structure to mount the table leg.

Thank you. Still lots of fine tuning on the inside left to do. Outside needs storage boxes. Need more time in the day to start building them with composite panels :-)

Headroom in the queensize bed is roughly 45" when lowered.
