Perhaps instead of reducing the length to the lowest point of the floor before on the departure angle the rear wall and floor could just be extended to eliminate the departure angle but not reduce the overall length of camper. This would solve the problem on the inside...
It will go on a 2000 F-350, crew cab, long bed. I will remove the bed. I need to learn more about the mounting options and preferences. Keeping the cost down is imperative. A flatbed obviously allows the truck to remain useful without the camper mounted, which seems like a really good choice.

Sad news: Carbon-Core is only capable of producing small amounts of that foam filled honeycomb and all of what they will be making is pre-sold, and they’re not taking any new orders for now.
So here is another thought; if the honey comb panels are stronger "and available", why not construct then insulate the interior similar to a van conversion?
