Sorry I missed this. It’s a ram 2500 powerwagon.Just to clarify, is that a half ton or 3/4 ton Ram? Also, what engine to do have?
I apologize for the questions, you’re setup is very much in line with what I would like to move up to from my Snap! Treehouse.
Can't wait to see what you have in store for a mid-size truck build! We’ve been quiet on Expedition Portal for some time however we’re super excited to share this walkthrough video of the SuperTourer with everyone. This longer format video shows off all the features of our campers and a sneak peak of some exciting changes we’re making and features of our upcoming builds. Let us know what you think!
You can’t really sit on the bench with the top down. You can get in to load food etc and in a pinch you could sleep on the bench or the floor.
Or I think you can get an F250 with the rv package I am told will work but maybe I am wrong. The super tourer has been great, I honestly couldn’t be happier.
I didn’t really forgo any options, It has everything I wanted. Weight all in and loaded for an average trip comes in at 10500. I did all the upgrades to the pw to handle the weight, bigwig, air bags Carli rear springs Thuren king shocks etc. the truck performs remarkably well for size weight but still has some sway at high speeds in the corners etc. it drives fine but I’m a little reluctant to share the driving, once used to it it’s fine. But if I had my time again I would have built on a 1 ton platform. I came from a jeeping background and wanted all the travel in suspension that I could. In reality I don’t use a rig this size like a jeep and don’t think the rear leaf springs would limit where I go. The 1 ton would just handle the weight better. It’s really a hard call.
Hope this helps.
