New Autohome prices listed at Defenders NW - OUCH!

I added a new Maggiolina Grand Tour 360 to the cart and got a significant discount, but then they added $1000 to ship it 300 miles to Spokane from Seattle….





There is a similar price increase for all the accessories…… I don’t see how they can sell any at these prices. They are definitely excellent products, but they are simply not worth that much $$$. In context, this exact tent was listed at $4500 just a year ago…. Comments?

Crazy high prices on the US side recently (almost doubled?).

Autohome does not appear to be very well known here in the US (outside of a small hardcore crowd); in all my driving around the States (47/48 lower) over the last 15 years I've rarely encountered one (more common sight in Western Europe over the summers). So, without awareness or marketing tailwinds, how do they expect to sell them here at these prices? Granted, there's a small crowd that'll prize their workmanship, ruggedness, and ease of use (as I do), but even for them, 10k is a real stretch given, at least what appears on the face of it, many reasonably credible alternatives at much lower price points.

They probably had to peel out a crap load of import tariffs (currently at 45%) and have to pass it on to the American consumer. Better get used to it, anything coming into the USA is hit hard with tariffs.
