I am very interested in this product, but not at this price point. I think any experienced person, reacting to the price, would ask for engineering data that substantiates whatever was done to attempt to strengthen this truck. The combination of Toyota reliability (of stock components) and variable limited-slip differentials is hard to match. BUT the bolt-ons and weld-ons can ruin everything. Is this an engineered product or a homebuilt assembled by enthusiasts who incorporated and marketed? There's no bragging to be found on their website. Please note that these trucks are at the very-light end of the light-duty truck market.
If you like to read, maybe this will help... https://forum.expeditionportal.com/...e-truckhouse-tacoma-expedition-camper.221940/

I was much more favorably impressed with their end product than I was with their "launch". People I know who saw it at a show were very impressed with the camper portion.

I never saw details on their chassis mods though and that is very important, as this rig is surely thousands of pounds over the Tacoma's GVWR. From what I've seen, mods that people make to reinforce frames often cause more issues... but no idea if that is the case here; they might have done a good job.

EDIT: Tacoma GVWR is ~5,600 lbs, and I'd be surprised if this weighs <9,000 when loaded for a long trip. That wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker for me, but I'd need to know exactly how they modded it.

That would be cool to see!
I will see if I can find it maybe IG..It was early when they were starting to go to shows..Even the carbon fiber part that integrates the frame to the camper. Do you have pics of your new build?
