The commercial ARB is made for Fzj80 without flares, so it doesn't stick out as far. It also is set up for a Warn 8247.

ARB Commercial Bumper Installed! It took awhile to get here, but totally worth the wait! Easiest bumper install I've ever done, and that includes OEM stuff on other makes of vehicles. Got my OME HD low suspension delivered, but will have to wait until my ankle recovers a wee bit more from this...

I had lineX put on my Fzj80 after the flare holes were welded up, and I've been perfectly happy with it.

Oooo! That's a nice bit o kit there. Does it knock the fuel mileage down any, and wind noise? Those were a few complaints I had about my TJ rack, but the utility of it was without question the only way to go. Even with the trailer it was needed with the jeep. Time will tell with the 80, but I do...

235/85 STMAXX, couple thousand miles, I'm still happy with them.

Well... the sag continues. My radiator is leaking ever so lightly a the seams, so now it's off to Uncle T's for more goodies in the basket. Hoses, radiator out of a 93 94 fzj80, thermostat, gaskets, and more green coolant. May do the water pump while I'm in there.

New button on the dash installed today. Now we have an actual 4wd high setting!

Well, in the category of "that was fun... not!" I spent ten hours on Thursday replacing the oil pump o ring, dizzy o ring, and front main seal. Most of the time was spent getting the very last phillips head screw out the oil pump. All the screws up to that point came out as designed. Two hours...

What type of budget are you looking at? Kakadu camping in the northwest has tents for the top of the military jeep trailers, but they ain't cheap. Eezy Awn and Hannibal are a few others that fit the bill. Here is a pic of mine from Kakadu Camping.

Thanks Mauka, but lift is still in the mail. I don't want to mislead anybody, but that's still uncle toyota's springs under there. It's going to be awhile as I ordered an ARB commercial bumper and those are usually special ordered slow boated from Oz. I knew this going into it, so I'm not...

Looking forward to the build. I've owned mine, a 97 for a bit over six months, and comming from a newer wrangler this rig is great. Yeah, it leaks a good bit of oil, and it takes up time with a wrench, but the trade offs are worth it so far. Good luck with your move, and your 80!

I eventually want a cargo drawer, and rear plate bumper, but I'm pretty dissolutioned with swing outs, pain in the butt. I want more fuel, but instead of swings, I'm thinking a sub tank. Dunno about CARB liking that much. The front is waiting for a bull bar, winch, and a second batt, so there...
