JK Habitat Video
The first video of the JK Habitat have been posted.
You can see all four of them either at:
The JK Habitat Section of our website under video
or

If the truck checks out fine, and the brakes work between the breakaway and the drums, I'd look at the connection between the plug and the junction box.
A few possibilities, If you have a plug that is removable i.e. not a sealed unit to the cable, a wire may have come loose. Or the wire...
It's a little bit complex because you need a method of turning off the gas if the flame goes out, and a method of turning the unit off if it over heats.
I know the units are expensive but when you are dealing with gas, open flame, and heat it's not worth messing around with. You'd be better...
The 8 lug is not available in the 3500 or lower axles. They start in the 5200 and up range.
The great thing about the bigger axles is the bearings are huge, the downside is that everything is much bigger and much heavier. If you are thinking of running electric brakes the 5200 style drums are...
Video has been shot. I am waiting for a new power supply for the camera so I can transfer it over to my lap top for editing.
Should have something on our site either Friday or Saturday.
That's correct it doesn't mean their isn't a short on the trailer, but it's pointing a finger directly at the vehicle side. You need to test the brakes at the vehicle socket to make sure they are working, and then take a long hard look at your controller.
I'm not so sure the steel bar runs all they way along. We'd initially thought about that but ended up having a reinforced plate added during building for the rack mounts.
A better option would be to mount to the vertical wall of the main shell rather than the lid.
We use the 430 Tracker II set...
We use the HeatSource propane heater. No mixing of combused air and heated air. Air intake and exhaust to the outside. Very efficient with a thermostat
Agreed side mounting is better. We have a AT FlipPac in production that is getting a roof rack and the support brackets are going on the side.
The important point here is that the complete rack assembly needs to be removed before opening or closing the roof. The torsion bar is made to open the...
I don't have experience with the AT FlipPac in snow, but I live at 5500 ft and I've shoveled enough snow in the past 25 years to make a grown man cry :sombrero:
There are a few important factors here and before I delve into them I need to tell you that after reading all of this you still are...
Nikwax has great products. The TX Direct is ideal for re-waterproofing nylon.I have used it on ski gear for years.
Follow the directions, and most importantly put the flysheet in the drier, it needs to be heat cured.
It seems that a few of the flysheets may not be as waterproof as others, so...

Start out by checking the brakes by pulling the pin out of your brake away and then trying to roll the trailer forward. The brakes should engage within a 1/4 turn.
Keep me posted on the results.
The people who made the tent were under the gun to get the tent sewn in a short period of time.
The production tent will be the RTT style windows with "awnings" over the windows. Two windows on each side and one on each end (total of 6 Tacodoc :sombrero:).
The final design is now on CAD and...
Use 6 ga welding cable from the battery to the compressor. We use an 80 amp resettable water proof circuit breaker, place it in line as close to the battery as you can.
Ground the compressor to the chassis as close to the compressor as you can using 6 ga. Make sure you are down to good clean...
The Fox Wing pivots of one point and would apply too much stress to the shell.
You would be better off with a single straight awning like the Eezi Awn or Fiamma. They are both in hard aluminum clam shells and offer the best protection tot he awning.
The Fiamma F35 can be set up so that it is...
If you want tubing to go from the compressor to bulk head fittings etc. on the vehicle we have all the push on fittings. We use 3/8" DOT flexible hose, I think it's $1.00 per foot.
