I need some help on a choice.

I have an 05 TJ with the dana 44 and 3.73 gears. Here's the crunch... I have an ARB for a 44 front in 4.10 gearing that I've been sitting on for years. After calling ARB tech, they've assured me that it will indeed fit in the rear axle I have under the Jeep. I really didn't want to complicate...

    Hella FF300's

Hi, I'm looking to put more light on the dirt, and I wanted to know if anybody would share their experiance with the FF300's from Hella. I am considering the FF300's vs the IPF 968 (I think that's the right # for IPF) as they are close in price. I like the shorter profile of the FF300, and I'm...

Spy photo of new AT Trailer

I like the idea of a heater. What about a catalitic propane heater like the Buddy heaters.... Safer cause of an O2 shut off, and if you already have appliances running off propane, no other fuel storage would be needed. Oh... I also think the comfy matress would be nice. I'm young enough to do...

is a 1" lift worth time, effort, and money?

I'm going to sit on it for awhile. The Jeep still does and goes everywhere I've wanted to go. AEV has the Nth degree belly up, that doesn't require a body lift, as well as the Tereflex model. I may just do the OME as they are so widely liked. Thanks again. I seem to have more time than money...

is a 1" lift worth time, effort, and money?

I think the 265 are 33's yes/no? I really am happy with the disco st 31's on the jeep. Yeah my brain is sticking today, I have the confer rack and basket sett up, along with a heavy front and rear bumper set up and soon winch. So yes I'm incurring some weight. I like the sound of OME but...

is a 1" lift worth time, effort, and money?

Sorry bout the lack of the info... The Jeep is an 05 TJ. The doo dads are going to be a belly up kit, and a gas tank skid (Kilby... 05 TJ needs a body lift for it). My springs aren't worn horribly, I don't plan on getting any bigger in the tire dept. I'm running 31's. My wheeling does not...

is a 1" lift worth time, effort, and money?

I've been looking at lifting my TJ up about 1.5" from stock, and I found a company that has a 1" spring lift for it. I'm not sure if the 350.00 and change would be worth chumping out. I was thinking about doing this and a 1" body lift, as many of the neet do dads that bolt under the jeep require...

Got a winch, now need a battery

    tent material for self build

I'm curious about sealing the seams on a build like this. Would a simple seam sealer/wax compound be whats needed? Or, is there some secret handshake club trick to it? Also where to get a good window matterial? I have a contact for a guy that will sew the matterial up for me, so assembly isn't...

    mpg question...jeep LJ unlimited...

I get a pretty consistent average in my 05 TJ. With the rack on I get 200 to 210 miles per 14 to 15 gallons. With out the rack I get about 220 to 225 per the same amount. I seem to get about the same towing, but that is usually highway, and the other mileage is a mix. Mayne
