I have the eagle eyes and wish I would have known to seal them before installation. Mine showed condensation after the first rain they encountered. I will be sealing them up well when I get a chance. For the cost savings compared to OEM, I'm not complaining.

It looks like Chevy has brought a great product to the market. Hopefully this sells well and stirs some competition.

Maybe if it was a 7.3, I have the V10. People worship the 7.3, but for my current needs, the V10 is a great powerplant. However, the body is relatively rust-free. It will eventually be powered by a 6bt. I don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon :smiley_drive:

Perhaps your lenses are a bit worn/foggy. A popular upgrade for the 99-04 is to upgrade to the 05 grill and headlights, which were refreshed in 05. The headlights should actually be better on your 05 compared to the earlier model years. Rockauto and eBay both have headlights for reasonable...

What PSI were you at when you got stuck? This past fall I ventured out on the beach alone and was a bit nervous. So much so that I actually bought some traction mats just in case. I aired down to 18 PSI and had no issues at all. Looking forward to more updates.
