265/75/16s fit just fine on the fullsize montero. I was running 285s but they were cheap tires and didnt last. I went with GY wranglers this time. Mucho better.

This^^^^^ That is why I put locker in quotation marks. I understand it isnt a real locker as commonly defined, but I have heard someone call it a "locker". That was my guess.

I believe the only "locker" is in the tranfer case not the axles. R&P would be ring & pinion, as in what the differential uses to transfer power from the driveshaft to the axle.
