Hmmmm, not sure about the Vison-X pods. They are growing on me though. Wife, not so much. She advocated moving them to the opening in the winch bumper on either side of the lic plate.

Well that you take the hard road is fairly well known!
MAR? Izzy will expect you. I'm happy to include you in pulled pork (fri) and potential low country boil (sat) #'s.

While interesting, I think for the ease of time-and relatively speaking money-I'd put a Baroud on top and spend the time saved out with the truck.

It is not easy with the HK stereos that the vast vast majority of NAS spec trucks have, that's for sure. Far easier on the base spec.

Much has been covered already but I didn't notice SAM splint on there (i.e. the 36"x4.5" size that is good for the arm, or as a hasty c collar).
Amazon is where I get most of my stuff, but after going through Wilderness First Aid (WFA) with MEDIC SOLO I'd be remiss if I didn't point out their...
Why not the intermediate (at least in terms of SOLO) Wilderness First Responder? (WFR). ~9 days vice 2, obviously more expensive, but a lot more time getting hands on and going a bit further. I got the sense that WEMT, as noted by Herbie, is a significant chunk of time/$ based off our...
Adam-
That was our calculus too. I knew plenty of purists would be upset that a 97 XD was being used like that, but also am cognizant that the truck went for sale for a song and nobody jumped on it to save her when it was listed, nor when I was parting her (many parts went to other XD owners...
It was a real XD; was a long way from saving long before it ended up on its side. I bought it several years ago for the rack-paid basically what an SD low rack is worth for the whole truck (first indication of condition). Rust throughout the entire truck was chronic. Drivetrain was decimated...
Indeed.
I won't quibble that the G26 is more concealable than the G19; nor my contention that the G19 is inherently more accurate in application (and far easier to train with). Since the OP has a G26, that's moot.
My comment was more directed toward the OP picking up another pistol that is...
Just took WFA by MEDIC SOLO, hosted by Twin Mountain Off-road in WV. Phenomenal class, will be taking WFR at some point as a follow on for sure. Well worth the time/$.
We'd engaged the instructor to facilitate the final exercise being based on a vehicle rollover, using Twin Mountain's...
As alluded previously, this weekend my wife, daughter, and I joined with other like minded folks to attend a Wilderness First Aid course instructed by MEDIC SOLO (https://www.solowfa.com/). Two days of class that essentially takes basic first aid across a wide spectrum and makes it especially...
Trust me...I'm going to find a reason to cross strap.
A few shots from the weekend at Twin Mountain attending the MEDIC SOLO Wilderness First Aid course which was phenomenal. More to follow when the course instructor posts pics, we got a little busy during the best parts so I don't have...
Depending on the size of your hands you may want to get yourself some grip extensions (Pearce or some other alternative, all keeping in mind CA capacity laws).
You may find the 26 works well for conceal...but is not all that pleasant to shoot in comparison to a G19.
That is my experience from...
