So, the chief has sourced some second hand 305/70R19.5 tyres!
We are taking them out today on trial to see if they are an improvement on the toys.

I can tell you that they are DEFINITELY NOT what they used to be, in my opinion, based on what I've personally experienced ( sitting... waiting for the mechanic to arrive... many times!!) the new Isuzus are rubbish, with minimal dealer support when you REALLY need it
I'm running 37psi steer and 42psi rear on the island, 65psi steer/70psi rear on the highway, and the diff on the NPS drags in the sand, then the bloody thing goes nowhere until you get the max trax under the back (if you can...)
imho, they don't even hold a candle to the 9.00R16 (255/100 16)...
they are well over $200k AUS off the shelf, some people don't know what a hard worked truck is... try an ex cape york rattler, or an ex fraser weetbix chassis. ex day tour buses are always worked hard, pushed to a schedule, over harsh terrain. Mine truck worked hard.......hmmmm
