    255/80r17. THREE OPTIONS.

I would think the 235's would be easier to find as they were once standard equipment on many 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

What's on the rear axle? (GMC Sierra)

The alignment on those trucks isn't really that bad but you do need a gm scan tool to tell the rear rack to center itself, then you check/set the rear angles and move on to the front like any other alignment. Definitely more stuff to wear out though. They did have a tight turning radius.

    255/80r17. THREE OPTIONS.

There's also the 34/10.50/17 KO2 which is pretty close to a 255/80/17. I run the ST Maxx on my 2008 4runner and I like them.

    nitto ridge grappler

Just put a set of RG's on my 2014 4Runner. So far I really like them. Minimal weight to balance, smooth and fairly quiet on the road, did pretty good in some snow, ice, mud mix we were in last weekend. I have some ST Maxx on the other 4runner and those have been good as well but required more...

    1988 Suburban "MOBY"

Not sure if you've done it yet but look into getting a dowel pin retainer kit (killer dowel pin) on that cummins before you stick it in.

Questions about buying my first overlanding vehicle: 2nd Gen Tacoma

I don't really see much reason to seek out a TRD sport over a SR5. I would be swapping the springs and shocks out anyway so none of that matters to me. I do like the hood scoop but even that can be swapped over. They are pretty reliable vehicles with some quirks. Some of the 2005's have had...

2008 Toyota Highlander (Kluger) Build: The BROlander

Definitely will be one of a kind. I don't think I've ever seen anyone do anything past tinting the windows on the highlander.

    "The Stormtrooper" 4thGen 4Runner build/adventure/shenanigans thread

That code should lead you in the right direction. Hopefully it's an easy/cheap fix.

    "The Stormtrooper" 4thGen 4Runner build/adventure/shenanigans thread

Welcome. That's a nice 4runner and I remember some threads about it. I have a 2008 4runner that is setup similar and we drive that thing all over plus it's my daily driver. They are great vehicles with some quirks and very few widespread problems. Thanks for sharing and I'll be checking out...

ARB and other decent front bumper for 2014-2016 Tundra

Those look good. Nice clean lines. Wow, what a nice setup. CBI makes some very nice bumpers and they are pretty cool folks.

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

What an awesome shot! I'd love to take one of my 4runners up there some day.

I'm digging those sliders and the plates for the tent rack. Very well done. Keep the pics coming!

Battleship Jones: 2015 Tacoma DCLB Build Thread

I would also try to spring for a HD bumper of your choice. As for the spare tire carrier, fuel cans, etc., I think it depends on your future plans for the truck. Are you moving to 35's? Planning any really remote long distance overlanding?

    4th gen 4runner tire size

I agree with this. 265/70/17 is a more common size than 265/65 and they're usually a little cheaper. I've owned my 2008 4runner since 2008 so we drove it around for some time on the stock 265/65's. I couldn't really tell a difference in power when I made the jump to 265/70's and there was only a...

2016 Tundra DC TRD: Project DD/gear hauler/base camp

Thanks for the reply! I'm looking to do the same when I purchase a tundra but I'm not sure I really want the tires sticking out much. I do like that size of tire though. I actually put some money down on a TRDP but I'm not sure I'm going to go through with it, I may just go with a SR5 and use...

2017 Tundra TRD Pro, Super Stoked!

Awesome truck and even more awesome that you've accomplished freedom from debt. Looking forward to this build as I have a cement double cab on order.

2016 Tundra DC TRD: Project DD/gear hauler/base camp

The truck looks great! I have a few questions though, 1. Where did you get the sensor guards and breather relocation kit? 2. Do you have any rubbing with the tires with those method wheels? 3. Can you take a pic to show how far that wheel/tire combo sticks out? 4. Do you have any more...
