The wiring upgrade is common for D1's/Defenders/etc but I am not really sure of its effectiveness for the HID lights, would be interested to see if anyone had done something akin to the ARB harness but for the D3 HIDs-though I still really doubt the gains. The bulb discussion is worthwhile...
