I may be wrong about the voltage, but I think you can buy those things at Wally World and Target for about $10.

    Weather Radios

Radio Shack. Mine is are and warning/watch programable. That way it's not going off for every flash flood watch we have, and in Memphis that is an almost daily occurance lately. My 2 meter radio will also receive 162.XXX, so I can listen to the NOAA broadcast with that.

Hey Everybody, This may be a dumb question, but here goes anyway. I have several laptops that I want to be able to use in the vehicles. I also have a Garmin Etrex Legend hand held GPS, (along with the appropriate USB cable), that I want to connect to said computers. I also have Microsoft...

    Electric convertors for Tanzania

I am a little late getting into this discussion. I have taken a plug strip and used just the plug adapter, as stated above, to power several 110/220 devices in Uganda and Uruguay, (obviously different plug). Have fun, I am heading back to Kampala in January, and again in June. Jim

    Look What I found

All of Montevideo is like that. It is way more like a European city than anyplace else in South America I have been to. This was in a pretty rough part of town near the port. But as I said, I was there at the very end of January and this was, I think, in the exact same spot. It may not run.

    2004 White Rubicon build up

Doug, nice looking heep. I was wondering when you drilled through the firewall is that double thick, and did you have to do anything special to make sure you were clear of any plumbing? That would be perfect for some re-wiring I need to do. Thanks Jim

Back up lights tied into reverse light circuit

I went to 4 wheel parts and got one of the light wiring kits, $10-15, and just used the wire from the exiting backup lights in place of where the wire from thw switch would go to the relay. Works great.

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Hey Everybody, Since I was in Africa last summer, I have become more interested in overland and expedition travel instead of rocks and mud. I have a 2000 TJ Sport and have had it on trails and some rocks. I have an REBB with 31 x 10.5" AT's. I am planning on replacing those with 33 x 10.5's...
