Thanks for everyone's feedback. Once it gets warm around here I'll finish cleaning up the installation, tune the antenna, and see how it works. And yes, I'm kicking myself for not getting at least a FT-60, but will have my eye on a mobile later this year.

Classic "D light mod". One of the most important mods on a 100. Search Mud for a fix (replace dash lights). I'm keeping the mod.

I put a Yakima fairing in front of the Front Runner rack in order to cut the wind noise. Didn't expect or notice any change in mpgs. YMMV.
