Public service radio often only have the face panel or control head mounted in the console with the body remote located just for this reason.
You wouldn't think so but it can.
A radio may be dissipating 4 watts but there can be considerable difference in radiated and consumed power. My CB...
Box stores won't be of much use anyway. I used to buy Uni-grip from an auto upholstery supplier on south Broadway in Denver near the old Gates factory. It's been 10 years since we lived down there so I doubt its still there and I haven't tried yet here in GJ. But I'm thinking about marine or...
Canvas seems like it would be awful heavy and bulky for the purpose. I wonder how well it will pack up and how quickly it might dry or retain its shape long term. The frames aren't really all that substantial.
I'd have my doubt in particular that the fiberglass tension poles could support...
I'd search around Tacomaworld.com, I think some guys have been able to squeeze a group 31 in the stock location.
FWIW, I have two batteries in the stock location, a group 25 and group 35, which is probably similar to a group 31. I haven't seen much reason to justify bothering with anything...
Sealed lead acid (AGM, gel) do not normally vent while charging but they can still if they overheat. They are safer but not absolutely safe. They have a valve that will pop open if the pressure builds up in the battery, usually because the charger is too aggressive, there's not enough air...
To get around it Toyota in the 1970s through as late as the 1990s was bringing trucks in without beds, which were made here. When they mated the bed it became assembled in the U.S. since the country of origin then (and perhaps still now) is determined by the last operation. Dewalt does this...
It's possible he can weld steel fine. Although deviating from the cut sheet and the fit up aren't indicators of good work and I wouldn't personally trust or recommend him.
Also consider rigging is usually rated for overhead use and vehicle winches aren't, so the two sets of requirements for stated WLL aren't the same.
It's conceivable that a U.S. engineer could rerate an ANSI Β30 device to SAE J706 standards. B30 requires typically 5 times WLL design safety...
As both a licensed Professional Engineer and a certified welder I can attest that both engineers and welders think the other is a abject moron and must have their hand held at every step. They're both wrong and right.
It's same for every industry. I'm actually an EE by training and...
Even mentions Mitsubishi specifically.

I've heard people describe it as the Koreans have adopted the Japanese mantra of quality instead of quantity. That's what Toyota used to say back in the 1980s, that they had no interested in selling a lot of cars or being #1 but just wanted to make good cars.
I honestly think if Kia designed a...
Did I see you camped near the Temple Mt & Goblin Valley junction a couple of weeks ago? Sure looked like your truck from a distance anyway. I mean how many Fusos with pop-tops there be in Four Corners this spring?
This outfit is sweet but alas it'll never be in my financial realm.
GLWS!
What's wrong with a danged stick in the middle of the floor, you know, next to transmission gear shift?
ETA: That interior. Ugh. What are you doing, driving a truck or piloting a jumbo jet? At least they put the transfer case shifter in the right place though.
I've had to fold up the WilderNest on more than a few occasions in Utah wind. I think a RTT is worse in some ways than a ground tent since being up off the ground you lose some ability to shelter with landscape or vegetation (what there is of it). My $0.02 is a complete hard side or at least a...
Those are my goals, too. At the moment I'm satisfied using a moka pot. About 99.3% of the grounds pop out in a semi-dry puck and I don't bother washing any of it over the duration of a trip. At home I rinse everything and let it dry before putting back in the chuck box.
