Decked Drawers Toyota Tacoma 6.5ft bed

    Tacoma's don't come with 6.5ft beds. Do you mean a 6ft bed?

Anyone in the Bay Area want to show off their AT Summit?

I am in San Diego, so still a bit far but if you are ever camping more south, I wouldn't mind driving a couple of hours for a weekend trip as well. So far I love my Summit. I took a trip up to the PNW recently and encountered a lot of rain and had no leaking issues whatsoever. The main...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

You are right to an extent. The closest we have all gotten to off-roading the new defender is our keyboards. Any video coming from a manufacturer I don’t take seriously. It’ll likely take years before we know just how good or bad the defender is off-road. It’s gonna take real people buying...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

I thought this would be fun to lookup. It is not even close to 1 LC to 50 GX's. Looks like it is closer to 1 LC sold to 8 GX's in the US. In Australia, for ever 1 LC sold they sell about 1.5 Prados.

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

This is kind of a pointless argument. There are pros and cons to both systems. To answer the question of how do you solve the higher unsprung weight and having the wheels connected is you don’t. You accept those cons for increased articulation, strength, and modding ability or whatever other...

Opinions Solicited......Another Head Scratching Mid Size Truck Choice Thread

For clarification I was saying that the Ranger is second to the Ridgeline in CR’s overall score, not specifically reliability. However I think it is also second to it in their reliability data. As for Honda, yes they have fallen off of a cliff in terms of reliability in recent years with their...

Opinions Solicited......Another Head Scratching Mid Size Truck Choice Thread

Something to note about the Colorado is that it recently made Consumer Reports list of least reliable vehicles and has the lowest overall score of any compact truck, even the Tacoma. The Ranger on the other hand has much better reliability ratings and is second only to the Ridgeline in CR’s...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

I think the D5 missed because of differentiation between models. Why get a D5 over a regular RR in NA. Not enough people in NA know or care about the discovery as an off-road model. That is where the defender comes in. It has more name recognition and marketing as an off-road model and that...

    New Defender Buyers Discussions

There are articles written in July about NA getting the straight 6 diesel in 2021. They were of course written before the September unveil. However nothing since then has come out to suggest those plans have changed. Personally I’m waiting until the 90, diesel, and plug in hybrid are released...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

^this is brilliant and spot on lol. I found this video review to be awesome. Seems very unbiased and factual in my opinion. However I’m leaning towards getting the air suspension when I get a defender. It’s adjustability will make it a great DD/adventure vehicle in my opinion.

Who ordered a New Defender ?

I thought you were going with the diesel. Or did I remember wrong? Since you have the option between petrol and diesel, why did you choose the P400?

Who ordered a New Defender ?

I think this argument is moot. Practically every new off-road vehicle for the last couple of years comes with that info in their electronics, maybe with the exception of the wade sensing. My F-150 showed how much power was being sent to each wheel, how much the pitch and incline where, tire...

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3.0L EcoDiesel

25 mpg might be more realistic. But seems lower than what I think Jeep would be targeting. More and more gas engines are hitting 25mpg highway so I’d like to see the diesel get better.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3.0L EcoDiesel

The new gen eco diesel should get better than the gen 1 though. The estimate is 30mpg in the Ram, so I’d expect 28mpg is realistic with the new engine for the Wrangler.
