Are you keeping the stock wheels? Backspacing and width of aftermarket wheels will really affect whether or not a particular tire rubs on this generation of Silverado and Sierra, stock wheels usually do very well not rubbing Sent from my moto e6 using Tapatalk

I've got a 2" below strut spacer and the factory block in the rear and it's perfect, so if you're going 2 1/2" in the front I wouldn't go with anything over a 2" block in the rear Sent from my moto e6 using Tapatalk

I don't know if you've heard anything about the leaking 3rd brake light on these trucks, but it's definitely for real, i just noticed a small telltale mark on the headliner right below the light and pulled it off to find the gasket dried out and comprised at the top end, I ordered a replacement...

Once you start going that far with these trucks it's just opening up a can of worms and you're always chasing one thing after another...I completely agree with you on wanting to keep the suspension at 2"-2.5" max, same thing I've done with mine. Sent from my moto e6 using Tapatalk

I did a very similar body lift years ago, in my garage with normal hand tools, by my self and I did it after work one evening, I agree on the 8 hrs sounding a little excessive Sent from my moto e6 using Tapatalk
