Yup I figure i am only on this earth a short while so why buy something old. I like new stuff and intake care of it and when the time comes to sell i always do better than the norm. Everyone has their own comfort level tho.

I would only buy a newer truck. On a Ram it would be a 2019 up because of the 8speed transmission and a Ford 2020 because of the 7.3 gasser. right now HD gas trucks are appreciating, not sure when and if things will get to normal but I was offered more for my 2020 Ram 2500 than I paid for it...

A ram 3500 with 6.4L can tow up to like 18,000 lbs or so.

added a Roam awning. Not the greatest quality but also under $300

no way to stuff a 37 underneath even if deflated to a negative psi.. If it could be done by just an exhaust mod you would be a wealthy by selling the procedure. you would have to cut the frame and figure a way to reroute the track bar.

my buddy has the mxt400 and I have the lowly mxt105 and we can talk to each other miles away. So much nice than a cb.

It all depends on what kind of stuff you want to do. Tight trails they will be a handful. normal forest service roads they would be great. Buddy has a new one and an awesome truck. I wanted one but every dealer was tacking on $5000 on top of msrp and low mile excellent conditions used ones...
