Saw an interesting Land Rover 110 on the streets of the 8th arrondissement in Paris last week. Very well equipped. I thought the false windows on the sides of the cab and the video cameras on sides and back were particularly interesting. Swiss registration.
Haven't seen this one on here...
Blundstone took production out of Australia a few years ago.
For my money, Rossi Boots are a better choice. They fit me better, wear like iron, and are still Australian-made. Very googleable for the US seller. I give 'em a strong recommendation.

I love the idea. Work would try to in the way of my participating, but I'd seriously try to do this, and follow with great interest no matter what. Keep working on this!

...and you can send us pictures of your OKA any time, expedition to Uluru or not! We don't get to learn enough on that truly unique vehicle here in North America.

Inspiring. We'll all send you our good thoughts. And wait eagerly for more of this report -- the kind of trip many of us have dreamed about for years. Thanks for posting!

3M VHB tape is different from the normal 3M neoprene automotive trim tape (which I've also used and loved for years).
VHB is in a different league entirely. That stuff STICKS!

You'll see a big improvement from the H4 lights alone. A new harness isn't strictly required but you may want to do it to get the highest possible voltage to the lamps.
Don
IIRC, the H4 conversions should be a simple replacement for your existing lamps in your Range Rover. Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to swap out existing lamps for your new H4's.

Good job. Looks super, and I have high confidence that it will give many years of service.
(I might put a few pickets in storage now, though, in the event that some sort of repair or modification is needed down the road to ensure that exactly the same composite decking is available).

Susquehanna Motorsports sells the urethane sheeting used by rallycar builders to make these flaps. in red or black here.
A little too Dakar for my taste, but, hey, it's your vehicle.

I *love* the 7-inch round Hella H4 lights. Had them for years in my 1981 Toyota Pickup, and I sure wish I had the great optics of that system in my 2001 Tacoma. Anyone's H4 conversion, but especially Hella, highly recommended.

The JC Whitney site shows them on clearance, but clicking on the detailed item takes one back to the home page:

My Dad, a schoolteacher raised during the Depression, used to say "we're not rich enough to afford cheap tools".
That being said, I've had a Craftsman Digitork torque wrench for almost 30 years that gets *very* light service and still seems to work OK. When it dies I'm not going to try to keep...
Neat truck. Might be somewhat useable, since on-the-road performance apparently was part of the design specification.
There seems to be a suspiciously-Renault logo shaped gap on the grille (smile).
