I disagree. It is the fundamentals of your project that makes it notable. I also see a lot of pictures of you using the truck, getting stuck, exploring. You are only making modifications when you find a serious deficiency in the field. Bravo.
I said yes, but with prejudice. We are probably going to install the suite on a few machines, primarily because we use indesign for most of our production work. I have never used Photoshop, but was considering it. Now, I am not certain - too bad Aperture is trailing so badly (that is what I...
I always ran the BFG 255/85 R16, and they are super soft carcass, so they deformed as expected in the rocks. Other tires are really stiff and require some break-in and even lower pressures, but then you suffer from flats (losing the bead). The 33x10.5 would be a good size, but it is actually...
Sorry, been traveling so much that I missed these questions.
I really liked the 5.29s and would likely repeat the same gearing for that vintage truck. The V6 never minded the high RPMs and everything just worked better. Better on the trail, better towing, better around town, better while...
That is good to hear. Most of the malfunctions I have seen recently are magazine related. The MagPull has seemed to clear that up within our group. I still get some type 1s, but always operator error - gotta seat those mags

I would really consider the 5.29s. I had those in my (very) heavy 2004 V6 truck and they were great. The truck performed better in nearly every scenario and I suspect the 4cyl would like those gears even more. It also held up to some serious use, crossing the Rubicon and even pre-running the...
You will love that little black box. I am curious how much reliable lift you will be able to program in. With the Johnson Rods, I could only add 10mm+ more to the rear and reliably achieve off-road mode.
I know the LR4/Discovery 4 is in beta still and they have been active in releasing BETA...
Have you owned a JK Unlimited Rubicon?
The LR4 has to compare against the best overland platform from each manufacturer, as it is the best 4wd platform Land Rover NA currently sells. So it much compare against the Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, the Trail Edition 4Runner, the 200 Land Cruiser...
I don't really disagree, particularly with the laptops. I really love my Macbook Air. It is the professional units and associated software that is frustrating.
The Koolaid is wearing off-
Nearly every quarter, we are encountering some frustration with Apple and our (mostly) Mac environment. It has been developing steadily.
Here are a few of the grumblings. We have over a dozen Mac computers in our office.
1. Aperture: Updates are coming too slow...
