I am looking to install a cargo basket on my camper shell. Currently there is no mounting system at all up there, and no gutters for any kind of standard mount. Is there any reason to go with towers and crossbars, then mount the basket to the cross bars, or is it best to just use the style tower...

How are people anchoring a camper shell to the truck bed when there is also a loaded roof rack on top? Are you comfortable with just the four or six aluminum bolt/clamps? That seems like a lot of load on those points.
