Yea, there lots of military history in Southern NM, between Holloman, White Sands and Ft Bliss.

Being retired military, I can go anywere that is not restricted. The area is open with no "Do No Enter" Signs, Controlled or Restricted Area signs or No Photography signs, except at the High Speed Test Track at which no Photos were taken.

You can fit 31" tires 245/70/17s on your stock Grand. A 2" BB will also give you quite abit more body clearance. Full skids are essential on the Grands, those cats are $1800-$2400 to replace if you bang them up and warrenty will not cover. Here is what you would end up with. 31" tires, no lift...

I agree with Brian, all boots fit differently. Go to your local REI, Bass Pro, etc, and try on all the different name brands until you find the right one. Vasque works best for me.
