The re-gear is on the list. I want to rhino line the bed and add some sound deadening to the doors first. Then I will re-gear. Did you notice a huge improvement with the re-gear?
it definitely seems like something is wrong for you to have over an 1" difference. I am actually not with the truck at the moment. Next weekend, when I get back to it, I will give it a measure. Maybe the 882 give it the extra lift to keep the front components from rubbing.
good luck with...
Great looking truck, I love the classic single cab.
What I did not post, was about the nightmare I discovered once I started to get into the suspension. The short version is, I ended up having to bring the truck to a mechanic and have them do all the work. My back bearing sheared, which...
Heres a few photos from a recent trip up In souther CO into Mexico. I added the bumper and full OME suspension kit. I think the truck looks good and it handles amazing.
I went with t JVC b/c that is what the shop had. I was supposed to have gone with a sony, but when I showed for my install. They told me the sony was not in yet. In a similar price range they had a JVC or I could wait another week.
I went JVC the sound is pretty good, but it is also...
I bought this T100 of ebay a few yrs back. I was going to build into an expo rig. Turns out the frame is pretty rusted. I kept thinking I would repair it but never got around it . I am now selling it.
The Interior is in excellent shape. It has only 107k on it, mechanically it is also in great...
Alittle update, It will be a few weeks before all the fun stuff gets here.
I added a kenwood headunit.
I took of all the plastic rain guards and ugly steps.
Then went on alittle weekend trip
It was a hard sell, I might regret it.
The aftermarket support is alittle more spendy and time consuming. For instance custom fab'ing a LC100 bumper.
When I came across this little truck, I knew of a friends friend who wanted to buy my truck. I just went for it.
I found this Gem, a 2 owner 118k double cab with the factory locker in great shape.
Honestly I thought it would take months to find a clean one for a decent price. The guy was moving and needed to sell fast.
With all the big truck craze (which I fell victim too), It feels nice to be back in...
Hello Expo,
I am looking to find a 2000-2004 tacoma DBCB with locking rear diff. Decent miles and shape.
I just sold my truck and need to find one quick that does not break the bank.
Thanks
I have had both.
80 series, well its a tank. Which makes it an amazing vehicle. There is so much aftermarket support, you can drive yourself crazy with mods.
The fuel economy is pretty bad, They can over heat pretty easy, they are slow. They do have typical toyota problems. The cult following...
I am getting ready to order some suspension for my 2005 tundra. I am looking to get about 1.5" up front and then in the rear Deaver is going to do a custom pack for me. I am roughly trying to keep the factory rake and not have it level . For right now, I am just going to go with the Bilstein...
