Upgrade goodies: High priority upgrade ;) Needed to extend the exhaust farther out towards the service body edge, so why not add a 12" long, 3" inlet to 5" outlet stainless Gibson tip? The added tone is nice.

Had some time to breathe and investigate functions more, after the August trip. Learned that the 2 VisionX driving lights, under the front bumper, actually do work. They are wired to the factory fog light pull switch, located in the headlights switch. I was not aware the truck was equipped...

After a 9 day, 8 State, 6 camp night, 3500 mile shake-down run, the truck and camper combo worked comfortably and flawlessly.

Thanks for the info. I am looking to do a very small lift and possibly go to a 35 tire, to bring the hwy rpm into the right range.

Averaging 10 mpg, with all of the elevation change and high speed hwy. 4.88s, 32s, V10, running A/C the whole trip.

So far very happy with the setup overall. Would like some sort of outside storage for the pop-up canopy. Maybe fabricate something in an upright position to the left of the camper door. Was thinking that I would be adding an awning to the passenger side, but so far it would have been...

Very true. I was just reading about that, to be sure it was not a valid option. I am so accustomed to using Rotopax, when I had my Jeep JK. Will stick with steel cans; just downsize to 10 gallons.

Yes it does. But I will be adding an additional or larger vent.

Pretty sure I have decided to ditch 2 of the jerry cans, and possibly go plastic for the remaining 2. Use the extra space for firewood storage.

Thanks for the input. I have 2 of that style breaker in the camper and another for the aux fuel station pump. Good breakers. I will probably swap the fuse for one soon. I also got a new/spare Smart Isolator from a Jeep buddy today. Carrying that with me as well.

    2005 F-450 4x4 Utility Body w/ Starcraft Pine Mountain Lonestar Pop-top Camper

Had a concerned moment since Saturday's mock camping setup. It didn't appear that the dual Odyssey 1700 aux batteries were receiving a charge while the truck was running. Tracked the concern to this solenoid, that we believed might be faulty. Turns out, the "Aux 4" dash switch activates the...

Today, I mock camped at a nearby park (while watching the Blue Angels overhead). Everything checked out well. Only equipment I didn't get to test is the tankless water heater. Added an anti-critter device in the doorway; camper does not come with a screen door.
