You're welcome, but really the thanks go to you for taking the time and effort to post your adventures. I post very little, but I appreciate others that do.
I agree with your Filson comments. I just wish I could afford more of their stuff. : )

Damn!!!
I would love this truck! Just not the right time for me. GLWS
BTW, I have one of your plate bumpers on my 3rd gen 4runner.
...and love it!
Durwin
Wow!!!
I just found this thread and read the entire thing in one sitting. I couldn't walk away. Your sense of adventure and love for life is inspiring. I love that your dogs are with you on every adventure.
I share your love of Filson clothing. Nice double mackinaw!
Keep the updates coming...
Jason, I just read through your build...very impressive! Even more impressive was seeing it in person. It's hard to be content with my rig, when I see rigs like yours.:Wow1:
It was fun sharing the vastness of the Owyhee's with you.
Until next time.

Jake,
I wish my "not quite overlanding" trips, were that amazing! Georgous country and bears!
How many miles on the 'little 2TRFE that could' now?
Be safe.
Durwin
prerunner1982 and MOguy, thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I'm a 'CB' greenhorn, and I'm trying to figure out the simplest, most cost effective way to communicate with others on the trail.
Sorry to hijack thread.
Durwin
Thanks 4x4junkie. I only want the CB to communicate with other rigs on trail rides, which I do very few of. I usually go solo, and have a Delorme Inreach for communication and safety. Will that 'shorty' antenna work for my needs (wants)?
Durwin
Jake,
Glad to hear you and the 'little 2TRFE that could' are still going strong. I always look forward to reading your posts. Your adventures and upgrades are both fun to follow.
The fairy ride looks fun.
Be safe

I love it! It's the ultimate 'sleeper'. The casual observer (maybe even some hardcore enthusiasts) will have no idea the capabilities of this 'little' truck. Nor the time, energy and love that went into making 'her' what she is....AWESOME!
Very well done!
Durwin
I'll chime in with my experience. I was in a similar situation a couple years ago. This may be slightly biased because I am a Toyota fan and have owned several, but not to the point where I won't own anything else. In fact my daily driver (pickup) is a 2013 GMC sierra 1500.
I found a good deal...
@ paddlenbike, I know this is a very old thread. I am very interested in the Cooper ST, and am hoping you could post an update. Do you still have them, and how has performance been (both onroad and offroad). If not, how many miles did you get out of them, and what did you go with?
BTW, Your...
Okay, thanks. I've not been on any of these trails yet, in fact I've never visited the area, but I am starting to formulate plans for next year. I love that pic (well, all your pics, but especially that one).
Thanks again.
Durwin
Awesome!
Thanks for taking the time to put the pics and video together for us to see. Black Bear pass is on my list of trails.
Where is this pic? Trail name?

Thanks

This is an awesome trip report. Very well done. I love your pickup, I had an 87 yota, very similar to your's.
Good job of making 'great memories'. This was a good reminder for me.
Thanks.:smiley_drive:
Nice! Again!
This truck is gonna be so simple and so nice. I would gladly drive it...every day! It reminds me (a little) of a bone stock 87 extracab I had years ago. I miss wing windows:ylsmoke:
As always, very nice work. I appreciate your skill and attention to detail.
Durwin
Nice Tundra...but?
Addison,
Nice Tundra! I followed you on T4R.org, when you had the 'dirt duster'. I loved your 4runner, and it gave me lots of inspiration for my 99'. I then kept track of 'Tom Cruiser', on Ih8mud. All your rigs are awesome builds. You definitely have a knack for building...
