The ole girl is about to get a facelift! AEV front bumper on order so I can install when we are back in Colorado next month. Was almost tempted to go with the Trailready, but didnt want to add the additional weight or profile.
Here's to hoping we don't need the additional protection, but...
Moving to 37s and doing so properly seems like a heckuva lotta work and money for relatively minor benefits.
Unless of course you really need that extra inch.
Are there any true, 4 season campers that wouldn't exceed the payload capacity of a 3/4 ton? You might be pushing yourself into a 1 ton truck if you need a 4 season. Northern Lites advertise themselves as being the lightest on the market, yet theirs are all a little north of 2,300 lbs.
We lived...
That is a nice find. I was unaware of it as well, but seldom idle my vehicle for long periods of time, so I'm largely unaffected.
Of course, I was also unaware of the idling recommendations pre-shutdown, so it would appear as if I should go through the diesel supplement again and read it more...
Whatever supplemental fuel containers you go with, take the CARB nozzles they provide and throw them away immediately. I've spilled infinitely more gas using thoss nozzles than the regular old spouts.
Luckily the company I bought them through had to drop ship from AEV, who happens to be out of stock on flat black wheels at the moment, so it never made it beyond the order stage.
Tofino, BC. Best sunsets ever.
In other news, new wheels were delivered yesterday. What's the process for getting thr truck to recognize the new TPMS sensors? Is it as simple as throwing them on the truck and going for a drive? Or do I need to get them reflashed at the dealer?
The California coast.
That really cool beach in Big Sur with the waterfall coming down onto it.
The Golden Gate Bridge. Couldn't decide which one I like better.
How do you like that Viair? I'm in the market for OBA, and the 450C is an attractive option. I'll only be filling tires, so I probably dont need the CFM of the ARB twin, nor do i like the price of the ARB as much either.
Anyone have a good source for laser/waterjet and CNC bending of light to medium gauge steel and aluminum?
I'm working on the design for a few brackets I need fabricated. I dont plan on making more than a few sets, primarily for myself unless there's some additional interest.
