Randy:
You might take a look at the Fuso offers for 2015 - they seem to be courting the snowplow folks with a plow specific package: http://www.mitfuso.com/en-US/News/2012/9/New-Plow-Kits-for-Canter-FG4X4-Offered
In one of our conversations with a California Fuso truck representative last year...
RMP&O:
What is the linear length of the 1 gauge wire run? 1 gauge might not be nearly enough if the length is great - especially for the winch. When the voltage is high (engine running) the other wires in the system could carry the current OK. Because your alternator connects to the...
I hope the person you spoke to is better informed than the person I spoke to! End of next week would be great. I've signed up for their email notification when stock arrives, but I may be last on a long list....
I spoke with Snowpeak last week and they predict they'll have some of these in stock in March or April. I'm still interested if anyone wants to part with theirs.

Hello Gait:
I agree with you - especially on a vehicle the size and mass of any Fuso based rig. While we carry one in our Tacoma (Hilux-like) we don't take one in the Fuso. Even in smaller vehicles they are an acquired taste!
One thing to watch for is losing your grip on the handle towards...
Thanks
95RRC:
Thanks - that's one reason for looking for a used setup.
TenaciousTJ:
Nice photo. Thanks for the leads - the Amazon listings have pretty high shipping (may be fair for the mass shipped, but more than I'd like to pay). Will try Portland.

Great Inverter
I've owned three of the these inverters (and now have the 2KW inverter/charger combo in our truck) and they are great pieces of equipment. There are smaller units available but I doubt any are more robust and suited to long hours. We ran two offices filled with computers off of...
We're looking for a Snowpeak Pack & Carry Fireplace (large size) setup. If you'd like to part with yours send me a PM or an email.
We're located in New Mexico, but would consider paying for shipping & we travel north and west a lot so a pick up might be a possibility.

Hey Czechsix:
You keep your hands off my box! Sorry we missed you when we were in Lakeside. We did spend 5 days in Anza Borrego (1 - 5 Jan). Started out in Rock House Canyon for 3 nights, then did Grapevine Canyon, back down S2 for two more nights at the end of the road in Carrizo Canyon...
There is a great imported trailer listed in the Expedition Portal sales section:
http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/130758-2010-Conqueror-Commander-Only-One-in-the-US-(PRICE-DROP)
Quite a bit of discussion about the importation / registration issues involved in that thread also.

Hello Mike:
No experience with PullPal failure, but some hypotheses based on reading the manufacturer's comments on the difference between the RW14000 and RW16000:
1. The 16K has "wings" added to the plow spade to increase the surface area. Thus I'd suspect that overloading a 14K with a load...
I agree with your strategy of gpx and csv formats. The gpx is easy to use currently in many platforms, but the csv is straight text which could be your best bet for many years and systems down the road. I have a lot of old biological data that I saved in formats that I thought would stand the...
Hello Tom:
We love the truck. I just replied to Keyne over on the EC thread -short version - no low range, 5.7 differential, we'd gladly accept lower gearing if it was available, but we don't want it enough to forego what we perceive as the other advantageous of the newer trucks.
She's...
Hello Keyne:
Thanks - glad you enjoyed the video. Our EC (Prima Terra) is a 2014 - no low range in the transfer case (Duonic 6 speed). She does have the 5.7 differential gearing which lowers her gearing a bit. Our experience has been that we can handle the gearing if we drive her correctly -...
