We fit our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an Alu Cab Expedition III RTT and Shadow Awning to do some R & D. First impressions, we are very happy with the fitment on the JKU roof and how the tent stays within the dimensions of the hard top. We were also impressed with the Shadow Awning coverage on...
No worries! The channels are a bit different in design then the norm, the channels serve as a mounting point to the "mounting brackets" which also attach to the side of the tent. So the mounting center line can be adjusted as desired.
The free shipping should be in effect for the foreseeable...
No worries, by struts you are referring to the mounting channels? The overall height is from the bottom of the channels to the top of the roof.
We will have better media and photos soon! :)
After searching for weeks, I cannot find any pictures. However the offset is 6 mm more than AEV wheels and height and width are the same. Basically they will sit in 1/4" more than a set of AEV wheels or 1" more than the Rock Monsters you attached.
They weigh 38.8lbs according to Hutchinson.

Pricing would be inline with the typical JK offering at $483 shipped each.
There are four of these mount under the tent, they can slide front to rear in the channel to be fitted. The bottom of the mount is where the mounting hardware passes though into your rack, cross bars, or gutter mounts :)
(The tent in the picture is not bolted down)

The Expedition III rtt has four feet that are mounted to the bottom and sides of the tent. Because of this no cross bars are needed, nor would they contact the base of the tent if used. This tent is a brute! :)
Travis,
Thanks for sharing the excitement of the AluCab products! :)
To answer your questions,
1) The Expedition III roof top tent has channels running from front to back that allow either a perimeter or bar setup from AluCab.
2) Yes we will have the Hi-Lift and various accessory mounts on...
Alu Cab Shadow Awning, pole less for quick stops or you can drop the poles and install the wall kit which has windows with bug screen and doors.
Also this unique design covers your complete tailgate area without an angle, giving you more room where it matters most!
Mounting a Shadow Awning for Front Runner owners just got a whole lot easier with new mounts from Alu Cab! These allow the Shadow Awning to be bolted to a Front Runner Slim Line II rack system and provide the strength needed for the pole-less design.
No worries, we have one on display in our showroom but I can place it on a LC100 if that helps.
The width is similar to the James Baroud models, but the length is around one foot longer.
