Iron Chef Cookware
About 2 months ago, I was walking through Smith & Edwards (store just north of Ogden, Ut that is sorta like Cabela's) and found some awsome new cookware. It's the latest technology in cast iron.
I'm sure we all love cooking on cast iron because of the perfectly even heat...
Thanks!
And it occurred to me that I forgot to ask my main question in the initial post. My weak point in this system is the inverter. I want to find the smallest (size wise) inverter possible, with the minimum output specifications:
19.5V @ 4.62A
Any suggestions. I don't really care about...
Hi Jan-
I tried to send this via Private Msg's but it wouldn't go through. Is your inbox full?
Anyway, I just posted a thread in the hardware - software area that I thought you may be interested in seeing. As you'll see, I take my trip documentation and mapping very seriously. :smiley_drive:

I am finally just about set up the way I want to be for a total trip documentation solution. After completing a great deal of research in my attempt to find just the right equipment that would satisfy my requirements, it was just this last Friday (Feb. 19th) that I received my new Logitech...
I didn't use axles. I built my own trailing arms with airbags and shocks. Similar to how AT does it. The trailer rides smooth as smooth can get and I have gobs of clearance.
I also don't have to worry about traversing rocks and such, as the trailing arms act like ramps (or slides), and I can...
Hinges and Latches
I know you already decided on hinges but I thought I'd throw this out there as an fyi. I used a pair of continuous hinges on my lids and sealed them using strips of 1/4" flat gaskets; this worked out well and i haven't had any problems. I got the idea from Martyn out at AT...
That's funny... I said almost the exact same thing on that other thread where the guy was asking about a good home, personal defense solution; I pretty much got slammed. :Wow1: Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.
I love my Glocks and wouldn't trust anything else for mine and my...
We're still on for the Swell trip in April so I'm sure we'll meet then. After checking out your rig pictures I'm anxious to take a closer look in person.
x2 on saving up for a JK. We have three kids so that makes 5 of us and the JK was the only logical choice for us. When we purchased it new in March, '08 we had 1 kid in a full seat and two in booster seats. Now we only have 2 in boosters. The kids have always had plenty of room.
There is also...
Thanks. I built the trailer myself during the winter of '08 -'09. I really love those AT Chaser Trailers but couldn't see spending that kind of money when I knew I could build one myself. So I used the Chaser as an example and got some advice from Martyn out at AT and threw this one together.
I...
Here's an Example
With all due respect, I hate the way it looks on the fender. I think that over time that fender would get weak and possibly fail; if a branch didn't rip it off first. Also, have you thought about changing fuses or having to check the battery?
Here's an example of what they...
Hey Jan-
I just got signed up here finally. From the looks of it, I have my work cut out for me finding all the interesting stuff on this forum and reading through it all.
