    James Baroud does not offer a ratcheting mechanism for our tents. They believe that the best design is that of low pressure gas struts and a lock out mechanism. This allows ease of operation with a system less prone to failure and no crank handle to misplace. :)

    Correct, The 2015 redesign features 360* screens and a softer strut system with a lock out. Makes it easier to close for lighter folks :)

We are sorry for the delay of high quality photos, the change in tent design was a big undertaking for us and the largest change in company history.     IMO the ARB Intensitys are the light for the AEV bumper with either the AR21's or AR32's. Here is some comparison shots I often use to show people the difference. And personally I have a set of color matched AR32's on my JKUR. :)
