We just got back from a trip out west. We hit the Overland Expo, drove to Sedona via Schnebly Hill, landed at Toroweap Overlook for a few days, and then hiked Horseshoe Canyon in Utah. Amazing trip!

Thanks! The Chuck is just the right size.
The custom slide ended up taking quite a bit of time and it cost me about half of what a ARB or other fridge slide would of cost. It is sturdy but with all the brackets and boards and crap bolted on it takes a fair amount of grunt to pull out. The...
It's more cute than cool. :) This is the small version that isn't available in North America any longer as far as I can tell.
This trailer has been very reliable. It's been as far east as Maine and west as the Tetons. The only repairs needed were one set of wheel bearings. And the...
I picked up this Cub Kamparoo in 2004. I love this little camper. It has treated us well and endured many long dusty trails. For years I've wanted to upgrade the tires and I finally pulled the trigger. I went with a simple lift with 3" blocks, massive 14" rims, and 27" all terrain tires...
Picked up a Czech Military Field Desk and made some kitchen chuck mods. I'll probably prep some sort of slide for it. And then I can design the storage shelf.
Nice bike. Good plan.
I picked up a DRZ last year and did a few mods: Seat Concepts saddle. MT21s. Big chinese foot pegs. Bash plate. Engine case protection. Renthal Bars. Acerbis handgaurds. KTM folding mirrors. Yosh header and exhaust. JD jet kit w/3x3 mod. Radiator gaurds...
Finished a couple to-do list items today.
Painted faded front grill. Replaced broken rear diff nipple and extended brake line. Installed auxillary lights. And installed coms.
Also tried to install Hardcore Offroad rear bumper but they accidentally sent me a Gen2 bumper.

Front shocks finally installed. New U-bolts installed.
I noticed that my rear diff breather hose was dangling, so I ordered a replacement nipple.
And placed order for Lokka front locker! $259 shipped! I couldn't pass up the great group deal at Club-Xterra forum. :)
I'm not quite sure when...
Thanks for the heads-up. That's news to me!
I'm thinking about going to the Expo West this May, so have a target for completing a few more upgrades (new u-bolts come first though). :)
Great photos and awesome rig. Your truck is done exactly the way I like them - perfect lift, right tire size, and not too many bolt-ons. Form follows function!
I reused the old u-bolts.
Temps got up to 36 today so I threw on a t-shirt and went to work in the garage. New General HD leaf packs and shocks installed. Rear sway bar removed. Front torsion bar cranked a bit - i will play with it as the rear settles over the next week or so. I got about...
General says their springs are about 250# extra capacity. So somewhat stiffer when empty but good setup for expedition vehicle. I think thats the route im gonna take.
And since i didn't do the suspension, i had time to thow on some mile marker manual hubs. Adds a little bling to the X.
And...
Thanks for the insights. I am learning more about leaf pack options.
Oem replacements $240 or so.

Thanks guys. SRStaff, that front articulation is impressive. I was not planning to do UCAs at this point, but those photos are compelling!
I hit my first snag today. After jacking up the Xterra, removing the tires, and trying to find a safe place for the jack stands . . . . . . I noticed...

Thanks! It's mostly a build concept right now, but very soon will be more.
I have considered UCAs and am gonna run the cranked front with single AAL for a while to see if I need them.
This build plan is greatly...
Roger that. I've removed both swaybars on other rigs and didn't notice a big difference. Glad to get the feedback about the front sway on the Xterra. I also do not want to deal with disconnects - they tend to be a PITA and MN winters kill them quickly.
I still can't get over the size of...
