    FJC Frame issues?

I'm blowing hot air, OK. Like I said in my first post, I do not know warranty laws on vehicles. Therefore take what I am saying with a grain of salt. I also said I am just trying to look at the other said of the coin. Devils advocate. For people out there lifting trucks and doing a-trac hacks...

16x8 Weld Super Single BEADLOCKS w/Free Tires - SoCal

She's just right, right now. If I pushed them out further, I'm afraid I would stuff them into the fenders and bind. Sweet rims!

    FJC Frame issues?

But as soon as you put a lift on or bigger tires or any kind of mod, you change the operating parameters that the vehicle was designed for. Once you've done that, I don't see why Toyota has to stand behind it. Thats cool if they do, I'm just looking at the other side of the coin. For those who...

16x8 Weld Super Single BEADLOCKS w/Free Tires - SoCal

POO! Not enough backspace or else I would be on these. I need at least 5-1/2" backspace to not rub.

    FJC Frame issues?

I don't know any of the legalities of owning a vehicle under warranty. Having said that, I'm surprised everyone wants Toyota to fix trucks that they take offroad. Offroad is harsh driving. Why should the manufacturer be liable for issues with abusive driving? I've seen the way some of the FJC...

Sierra Designs Clip Flashlight CD 2 person tent

I've used one of those for years backpacking. Very awesome tent! This tent will hold a large individual and their backpack comfortably or 2 people in a pinch. I've used mine in some nasty weather (4days of rain while backpacking) and stayed quite dry. Bump for a great tent!:tent:

    Hannibal 5' awning with sides

Oooh, How tall are the side walls? My roof rack sits at about 7'6" off the ground. Is that taller or shorter than yours? I'm wondering if the walls will even get close to the ground.

    Trail Etiquette (Uphill vs Downhill)

I've always heard the same thing, uphill has the right a way. I always pull over if I have space, regardless if I am uphill or downhill.

    best way to air down?

Kyle, I like that idea for inflation. That would be sweet to hook it up to the Co2 and go for it. Let us know how that project turns out.

    best way to air down?

Thats it. I always just pull the core. I've never lost one or cross threaded. I use one of those little 4-way tools. I do keep spares in my kit, just in case. I can also recognize the different sound when the air gets down to around 17psi. Then I replace the core and finish it up down to 15psi...

    Lightforce or IPF?

I have the 170 strikers. Very bright. I have the clear lens they come with and also a combo amber(very good in dusty/foggy conditions) and a dispersion clear lens(for a wider beam). I also bought the black covers for them for everyday protection. I love these lights! I have no experience with...

    Big Game - Long Range

I have a .338 WinMag. It is a heavier round and packs more punch at long range than the .300. It also drops more at long ranges, but a good shooter knows how to deal with that. .300 is more common, however. The Remington 700 is an awesome rifle.

    2007 AT Horizon in Tucson

Thanks Martyn. I will pass that on. 2 Expo members from Utah picked her up this evening and are taking her back to the new owner. Not sure if the new owner is on Expo yet. Sad to see her go, but it was the right thing to do right now.

    Topic retread... Paint or Powdercoat?

I wouldn't bother powder coating bumpers or sliders. They take to much of a beating and you'll end up rattle canning them anyway to fix the blemishes. A rack, however, is a good candidate for powder coat. It' won't get much abuse so the $$ spent on coating won't go down the drain. Geoross had...
