And in line with serviceable joints being weaker, I like the idea of my u-joints being the weakest link. I would rather replace a ujoint on the trail than have to replace a birf or pull an axle.
I grease my ujoints about 6-8 times a year.
I only have experience with the Luna, but I can say it was super easy to install. It also works exactly as advertised.

Check out Adventure Trailers. They sell their sweet trailing arm independent suspension. There is a write up on their site about someone putting it on a 416.
I have one of their trailers and run 315's on it.
What kind of MPG does it get? My wife may be interested in selling off her Jetta for this. She likes the Jetta but misses sitting up higher like in a truck.
The tire wiggles as you move down the road. The upright jiggles with the weight of the tire on it. No big deal if the welds are good and the weight isn't to much.
