Its been over a year on this thread and I was wondering how pleased you all are with your lanterns?

I have the Snow Peak for about two years now, I like it and it works great but I don't backpack with it. I would probably just use my Wetterlings small forest ax to drive stakes when backpacking.

Our Xeon lights are 35 watts, correct? How difficult would it be to replace the 35w ballasts with 55w units, would that gain us anything?

My SE has Xeon headlights as well.

This is why I ask questions, mine is an 08 with OEM bulbs and could use a replacement. I would assume there is no LED upgrade that would work in this scenario?
