I wonder if Total Composites, et al., contributed. You can get a 8x14 box from TC and have Bear Adventure Vehicles or someone kit it out to the max (if you can't do it yourself) for a LOT less than $600K, including the chassis. Maybe it wouldn't be quite as good, but it would be close.

Nice upgrades! The 2023 model only comes with a 175-watt panel and a Goal Zero Yeti 3000X, and there's an optional 75-liter fridge-freezer (which I assumed was the largest that would fit).

How long is the truck + Globetrekker body?

It seems like wind load is the only major con for hard-sided that people have found (other than weight). Is that right? It seems like weight could be taken care of with a bigger truck (350-450 or equivalent). As for lowing the height of a TC box, that sounds good in theory if you're a shorter...

For me, an overlanding rig is about getting to interesting places and away from RV parks/highways. I want to be comfortable while I'm getting there, but I don't need a rolling palace with McMansion-level finishes. If I had $700,000, I would probably get a land yacht instead of an EarthRoamer and...

FWIW, AT overland says you can get up to 315 Ah of lithium (website is now updated with that info), and they can add an inverter if you want one. I suppose they could mount the lagun table on the other side for better toilet access, but I forgot to ask. I wish they would update the video on...

@Victorian Where do you list the rectangular boxes (no cabover) you sell for box trucks? Curious about sizes, prices, etc., but I only see the ones for pickups on the website. (I could be blind.)

I suppose you could anchor the table and chairs with L-track easily enough.

I assume you need to take down the table before driving, or is it anchored somehow? Also, how big is the fridge, how much solar, is there a fresh water tank, and what’s the total length?

How do you like the soft-sided containers instead of real drawers? Seems like they would be kind of a pita, especially having to remove, replace, and keep track of all those stoppers that keep them from sliding out.

The Tremor package includes a rear locker, but for some reason it only seems to be offered on the 150-450.
