Just thinking of ways to maximize utility of my M101A2, and saw the truck bed drawer systems. I understand that I would need rear stabilizers or leave the trailer attached to the tow vehicle to open said drawers. Is it just a neat idea, or would I be wasting space and weight?

I love your build. I have a M101A2 that I would love to mod up just like yours. Does the rack just bolt on to the tub rails? That would give me the flexibility to use the trailer for utility as well as camping (provided I can't find another M101 for a good price!!) Do you have any issues...

Trucklites are definitely the way to go. I just wish I would've gotten them with the new heater (I live in PA). I think shocks are the next upgrade for me. Good luck with your build.

I recently found a M101A2 in excellent shape for $400! Couldn't pass it up. However, my JK rolls on 35" tires and my plan was to swap out the military axle for a Dexter with a hub to match the Jeep. Thereby using the same wheels and tires as on the Jeep. Can I safely squeeze my 315/70/17...
