For sale is my Ace Engineering JK Pro stubby bumper with 20" Lifetime LED light bar. I have drilled the top for a winch, but other than that the bumper is in great condition. Mounting bolts included. You will have to do some cutting to install this, but it is worth it. $500 firm. I am in...
Subscribed...I have a M101A2 and love the way you are going with this build. Sadly, I am trading in my 2012 JKU Freedom for a new Tacoma. Good thing is I haven't yet replaced the axle on the trailer, so I don't have to worry about new adapters. Anyhow, we are planning a trip for next year...
Just thinking of ways to maximize utility of my M101A2, and saw the truck bed drawer systems. I understand that I would need rear stabilizers or leave the trailer attached to the tow vehicle to open said drawers. Is it just a neat idea, or would I be wasting space and weight?
I love your build. I have a M101A2 that I would love to mod up just like yours. Does the rack just bolt on to the tub rails? That would give me the flexibility to use the trailer for utility as well as camping (provided I can't find another M101 for a good price!!) Do you have any issues...
I use my M101A2 mostly as a utility trailer for now. Once I sell my camper, I will be able to put money into transforming it into my RTT/camp trailer. My question is this for those who have modified the axles. Is there clearance to cut the inner fenders and open them up so that there is 48"...
Trucklites are definitely the way to go. I just wish I would've gotten them with the new heater (I live in PA). I think shocks are the next upgrade for me. Good luck with your build.
I have just bought a M101A2. I want to convert to electric brakes and matching hubs for my JK. Tires are 235/85R16 Goodyear. Wheels are 8 lug. Also for sale is the lunette and hydraulic surge cylinder. I am located in Gipsy, PA. $300obo for both. I haven't taken them off yet, but it...
I have a GOBI right now, but please put me on a PM list for when the new rack is going to be available!! That thing looks amazing, and solves some of the issues I have with my GOBI.
GallowBraid: I was drooling over your build. It has definitely inspired me. (Also dig the Tacoma-but can't give up a paid off vehicle that rocks). I was going to stick with the stock wheels, but I am already running 1.5" spacers on the JK for clearance for the 35"s. did you plan on 2"...
I recently found a M101A2 in excellent shape for $400! Couldn't pass it up. However, my JK rolls on 35" tires and my plan was to swap out the military axle for a Dexter with a hub to match the Jeep. Thereby using the same wheels and tires as on the Jeep. Can I safely squeeze my 315/70/17...
