It's a ways off, but Dave Bates mentioned that he would definitely have a Karavan, and I think a Kruiser also, at Expo East in October. And at least one current Karavan owner will be there. Not sure I really want to see the inside of a Kruiser in person after ordering a Karavan.... ;)

@Romer KK seems to be making some of those decisions simpler. From what I can tell, all Karavans and Kruiser are now air suspensions (choice of onboard air or manual fill), and lithium batteries, Merlin solar panels, and lithium appropriate electrical components are standard. Pretty amazing...

Between all of the Kimberley posts on this forum over the last years, and the answers to my questions, you all have done a horrible job of talking me out of buying a Karavan or a Kruiser!! Had a great talk with David Bates, and will be putting a deposit down on a Karavan. Appreciate everyone...

Due respect, but no manufacturer or sales group that I've ever seen goes out of their way to focus on publicizing the flaws and weaknesses in their products. That's rarely a successful long term strategy! Every Dweller and other camper is going to get towed with something. Last time I checked...

Thanks @Tucson T4R and everyone else. Not sure I'd be considering both if the pricing and tech wasn't almost identical. Somehow seems that the Kruiser should be a next step up after the Karavan. Have a feeling I'm getting distracted by the bigger, pretty, shiny box and trying not to pass up...
