Not sure if primer is being used as you mentioned, but I will be sure to inquire and follow up. They have been in the transportation industry for over 20 years, I would think they know what they are doing.
The two-piece aluminum extrusion gives 100% thermal transfer free from the exterior...
Only extrusions that are currently in use is the 27 and 90 degree. They bend/curve the panel for other angles. Here is their info on panel options.

For camper applications the goal is light weight and true 4 season capable. Wall thickness is 2-inch foam core. Not exactly sure what the R value is once it's sandwiched between the FRP. I do know from personal experience that it handles sub zero temps. They do offer many options for the...
Well its been awhile since I last posted. Looks like most of the discussion has been panel construction.
I think the last upgrade was to the suspension. I now have the Icon adjustable shocks on the front and back and has made a huge difference.
Finally decided to start another composite...
No primer, just clean surface from aluminum to FRP. Has held up great.
Just curious if anybody has used these other adhesives like Teroson 939 or Bostik 70-03 or 05a?
Pros Cons?
Yeah I wasn't sure about the bend initially but found it to be no problem. As far as the difference, it is definitely a much more muffled sound. For me it means not waking up when the heater comes on. Also, the length was not quite long enough to reach the heater, so I connected to the...
Thought I'd share an update.
Recently changed the transmission fluid to Amsoil. I had been noticing a chirp sound between 3'rd and 4'th gears.
After the change no more chirp and smoother shifts. Also added a larger capacity transmission pan and transmission oil thermal bypass valve.

Thanks, decided to leave Saturday after lunch, figured we saw enough. Also, it didn't help the drunks kept us awake past midnight. What happened to quiet time?
Good information, thank you. The failure mechanisms are interesting and should be understood when constructing. I think that bonding interior structures to the overall "box" increases overall strength and minimizes panel failure as well as suspension to reduce flexing.
I have not had any...
Thanks for sharing your research....
Been thinking about your last comment; "There is no such thing as the perfect panel or the perfect camper."
So true and there never will be as tech improves and we are always striving for "better". Some of us can never be content as we "want" more and more...
Nice garage! Did you use epoxy or Premium PL to make your panels?
"it s been slow! i have order so many parts, suspension, fiberglass, epoxy, alumium etc. I got everything in the house/garage ...."
