    LETS SEE YOUR TRAILERS!!!!

From a strictly monetary standpoint, building a trailer is much cheaper. IF you can do the work. If you factor in time/labor, its pretty close to a turn key/production trailer. However, part (probably a large part) of my enjoyment in this hobby is building everything I can myself, so for me it...

Im sure there is plenty of stuff...but only because I havent tried to yet. :) Nah, none of my stuff is perfect, but it saves me a bunch of money (usually) and allows me to enjoy my hobby. No Lambo's (or basement...), although I did have a pretty sweet little Porsche when we lived in Germany...

    XJ headliner out, what else?

Recover and replace... I need to do mine as well on the red Jeep.

Yes, it produces a vacuum effect (quite a lot actually) and draws heat out from the engine bay. It also allows more room under the hood if needed.

    LETS SEE YOUR TRAILERS!!!!

Nope, it mostly went to scrap. It was thin aluminum sheeting with a million holes in it. I used 16 gauge for the sides, and 14gauge for the floor and top. Here is the build thread if you are interested...

[cross posted from NAXJA] Decided I wanted a cowl induction hood, but didnt want to shell out $400-$500 for a complete hood. Once again, I am unemployed for a little while, and my project list in nearing its end, so I decided to just do it - if for no other reason than to have something to do...

Here they are again. And here is the additional upper hinge I added to the exo cage. I forgot to add these pics to this build thread... so here they are! I made a delrin bushing in the lathe, and the rest is pretty much self explanatory...

Mine too, this net just kinda finished off anything I had left... Thats what backup cameras are for.

Yeah, its decently easy to remove on mine, but with my cage in the rear, not a huge reason to put the seat down anymore. I will say it takes a little getting used to...blocks a lot of the view out of the rear.

Staring, pointing, sometimes laughing or shaking their heads... when the zombies come, and I roll over the top of their civics to get out of Dodge, i'll have the last laugh. :D

Nikson, what Bill said pretty much nails it. The weight added is around 380 pounds +/- based on the linear footage of various sizes of tubing used. I just want to have fun on the trails with my family, and ease my mind about how shoddily the cherokee is built when it comes to low speed roll...

Just a quick update, Just installed a net for my rear cargo section, I was hoping a tailgate net for pick-up trucks would work...so I just bought one from Oreillys for 22 bucks. Works great! This is mostly to keep the dogs out of my daughters face when they are in the rear. They can get a...

    TruckLite's Newest LED headlights

I would certainly be up for a donor XJ... my headlights suck big ones!!! I just checked, they do indeed use 5x7.... On another note, Chris was at the house yesterday, and I was checking out the lights. They look very nice, and are stupid bright. However, we realized the passenger side high beam...
