My understanding is that only the 5.0 has cylinder deactivation. The 5.0 and 2.7TT also have a wet belt driven oil pump. Those items are the reason I went with the 3.5TT in my new truck.

Please be aware of the issues with the Max Tow rear axle (hub retention bolt - that's my name for it) and keep your eyes and ears out. I passed over a few trucks I really liked due to that issue, which there is currently no solution for.

Yes, mine did come with an overhead console. This was a direct swap out for my truck (black in color, no security system, etc.) but included the Aux switches. It also requires another ($120) electronic component from Ford and a harness from Boosted Grey Goose Designs.
