Just an FYI, I actually purchased an SCT slide from a forum member here a couple months back. We used Pirate Ship for the shipping and it was substantially cheaper than going direct with USPS, UPS, etc. Only mentioning it in case you worked out an arrangement.

Rick, if you're a JK, then you could do the Cascadia 4x4 hood mounted 100watt solar panel. I've been running that for awhile. Incredibly rugged, and very simple, durable install with heavy duty double sided tape.

Over the years I've learned that a LOT of people are really into the build, and tinkering, part of putting a rig together, but not so much on using the rig. I get it. It's a hobby. People build "race" cars, but never race them. More power to them.

I visited Cerro Gordo for the first time back in June. It was definitely an interesting place, and a few of the caretakers there gave us some brief history, and told us to just walk around and let them know if we had any questions. Not very formal, but then again, I wasn't expecting much anyway.
