    Tc650 owners-Tundra/Silverado/f150?

You should definitely check out the Ram 2500 diesel. Last year they gave the suspension a make over. Mine has a GVWR of 12500 and the cummins engine runs quiet and strong. I've never been much of a truck or diesel guy, but I love this truck:)

Why aren't ute or tray back style campers more prevalent in the US?

Just my two cents.-- I'm a middle aged family man with a flat bed camper and this is why. Initially I owned a Tiger, which is basically a truck with an attached camper making it a motorhome. I really enjoyed my Tiger when I was using it. When I wasn't, it became an impractical toy that just...

2014 Ram 2500 Flatbed Pop up Slide out camper

[edited to remove deleted comment - Chip Haven] Estimated weight is 2800#'s. With the removal of the factory bed and replacement with the lighter aluminum flatbed, we are probably at or a little over GVWR.

Finally took my Pop-up/Tundra to the Scales - What a pig!

Weighing is on my to do list....... Not really, I don't want to know :) Hind sight is 20/20. I should of gone with a queen cab over east/west. This would probably of reduced the porpoising without the Lance struts. Also the nice counter tops add substantial weight. "Anybody know if aluminum...

Custom build for family of 4?

You may want to consider a flatbed camper. I have two teenagers that love to go camping and sleep in separate beds. Even though we have a slide out which provides more room, I can see where a different configuration without a slide would still give a family of four enough space. A flat bed...

    My new pop-up

You mentioned the heater not providing enough warmth. I too have the same issue with my Plat Cat in my Phoenix. When the temps get into the teens or below, it just won't do the job. What heater was installed on yours?

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

Sorry, did not mean to upset you. I probably should have kept quiet, just trying to see this as objectively as possible. Still, if you would like me send a copy of my warranty or anything else to help, please let me know.

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

I received a warranty with my purchase, reads much like your quote from TCM. I have had a couple issues that Phoenix responded to promptly and has been corrected. Not sure why local dealers will not help unless its a concern being a "custom" build. However, if Phoenix communicates with an...

A POP UP YOU'VE NEVER SEEN- The FERNWEH MOBIL

Porpoising Hi, got your message as a "visitor" then lost it. So thought I'd respond here:) The Timbrens that I had on the back were solid rubber and acted basically as a bump stop with no real value. These I replaced with hellwig air suspension. I would also highly recommend using the...

Thanks, but not the antenna. Looking for the satellite receiver where the antenna plugs in. I've looked on both sides under the dash and no luck.
