Well the wheel being off center is a mute point now. After driving the truck 90 miles today it loosened up and it’s almost as sloppy as the old box. I think I’m just gonna go with the redhead. I’m gonna do my 90mile commute tomorrow and think about it. Hopefully I can return this.

I’m not sure if this was clear or not. You can use either a battery charger or a converter charger. The battery charger will just charge your battery. The converter charger will supply 12v directly off of shore power and charge your batteries as well. I assume the converter charger is better...

I used to have a dually flatbed Toyota as a warehouse work truck. It was an unusual little thing but it was nice having the load surface so low.

Brakes, brake backing plate(dust shield). Doesn’t sound like a unit bearing IMO. Bearing sounds more like a hum at highway speed and you can make it quieter/louder depending on which way you’re steering. The outside wheel gets more weight on it and gets louder.

I would just get a new base model 1/2 ton truck. Even the base v6 engine is gonna tow a 4K pound trailer better than an old ranger. My work truck is a v6 ram 1500 crew cab. I thought it would be a dog but it’s not.

If it’s a sound that’s wasn’t there before I would guess there’s a problem. Maybe take the timing cover off and inspect the timing set for wear. I’m not sure what it would be.

Does it run rough?

There’s a tensioner that you took off and put back on? Did the belt seem tight? It should be. Did you double check the alignment marks were still correct after turning the engine over by hand.
