    Tire experts needed

I haven't been able to find anything in LT sizes either. The Duragrappler is smaller than I want to go and not quite aggressive enough. I really don't want to have to switch to 18" rims but that seems to open up more options. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.

Due to liability they wouldn't sell or install anything that didn't match the rating on the door sticker of the truck. I could probably get creative and figure out how to get somebody to put tires on that don't match the rating but I really don't want to have to mess with it. I feel like there...

    Tire experts needed

I have a 2019 CTD Ram 3500 single rear wheel. I bought AEV 17"x8.5" rims for it. The guys at my tire shop said this truck requires a tire with a 125Q load and speed rating. In the size I wanted (35x12.50x17) there were only like three options and i ended up buying Toyo MT's because I've heard...

Quadrasteer Worked So Great for Chevy, Right? Now Maybe It’s the F250’s Turn

I think manufacturers patent all kinds of things that they don't really intend on ever putting in a vehicle. It doesn't make this thread any less entertaining but the fact that Ford filed a patent for 4WS doesn't mean much.

    200 Series Wheels

I love the Evo Corse wheels. They make both a 17" and 18" for the 200 series. Check out Main Line Overland's website for info.

Sort of. They fished the camera out of the tailgate and mounted it on the flatbed. It works great for hooking up a trailer. However, since it sits lower than the factory location the perspective is a little weird. The tire lines on the monitor don't line up with where the tires are actually...

FYI-if installing a lift on a new Ram yourself be sure to center the steering wheel before driving at all. The ESC light that came on required a re-calibration at the dealer to a tune of $125. I guess if the stability control senses the steering wheel off center it throws a code that can only...

I ended up going with 35" tires instead of the 37's. I'll see how these go and maybe switch to a 37" in the future. I just couldn't justify the extra expense and weight of the 37's since the Toyo MT was pretty much my only option in a 17"x12.50 size. They are close enough to stock size that I...

Denver is super close. You can get a one way flight on Frontier for $80 and be here in an hour and a half. You could fly out in the morning and be home in time for dinner. Pretty easy fly and buy...

I thought the same thing when I bought it. Never had any issues though. I replaced it with a new Ram 3500. I will certainly miss the simplicity of this truck but am getting a little soft I guess. Diesels have come a long way in the 15 years since this truck was built. I was ready for...

No rust issues. We do use salt on our roads in the winter but I'm pretty religious about washing it after every storm. There is some surface rust on the frame and leaf springs. It could use a wire wheel and re-paint if you wanted it to be perfect but it is purely cosmetic. Nothing structural...

I've had a few calls but no takers yet. I'd go to $22,500 for expo members, going to leave it at $24,500 locally for a bit longer.

    2019 Ram 3500 build thread

So i drove the truck around the block and now a"Service Electronic Stability Control" warning comes on? I think there is a steering wheel position sensor and maybe since the steering wheel is no longer centered it tripped the warning? Any other ideas? Maybe the alignment will fix it. Just...

Got some work done this weekend. The Thuren coils and King 2.0's on all four corners. It now sits 1/4" low in the front versus 2 1/4" stock. Perfect stance in my opinion. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. AEV confirmed the wheels will fit and I should have those tomorrow.
